A.M.A.SING! at Kolter Elementary

We are excited to announce that we are now offering 2 choir programs: one for K-2nd graders, and one for 3rd-5th graders!

Choristers will learn how to use their voice in a group setting, receive instruction on foundational music theory, and will prepare to sing together with their peers in a final performance at the end of the semester. No experience is required for either age group!

K-2nd Grade Choir:

Meeting Day and Time: Wednesdays at 3:15 PM

First class: Wednesday, January 15

Last class: Wednesday, May 14

3rd-5th Grade Choir:

Meeting Day and Time: Mondays at 3:15 PM

First class: Monday, January 13

Last class: Monday, May 19

Both choirs will perform on Wednesday, May 21 at 6 PM!

Please fill out the following form and a member of our administrative team will contact you to confirm payment information and officially register your chorister for the class. Please note that space in the class is limited, and we cannot reserve a space for your student until billing has been confirmed.

Registration closes Friday, January 24, there will be no discounted pricing for late registration!

Pricing:

3rd-5th Grade: $320/semester + $25 registration fee

K-2nd Grade: $360/semester + $25 registration fee

**Please note that the difference in price is due to the number of classes each age group will receive. K-2nd students will receive 18 classes and 3rd-5th students will receive 16 classes due to Monday school closures.

Tuition includes the cost of a limited-edition A.M.A.SING! t-shirt. A portion of tuition will be given back to Kolter Elementary.

Students will be able to use the full capabilities of a piano including dynamics, pedaling, musical phrasing, and dramatic interpretation. Students will be able to participate in seasonal recitals at one of Houston’s many venues. Recitals, included in their tuition, display each student’s personal achievements in their instrument. Our students have the option to perform piano, guitar, violin, viola, voice/singing, cello, and drums!
