
Jonathan Andino - Violin, Viola, and Piano
Jonathan Andino, a Honduran native violinist who began his musical studies at the Victoriano Lopez Music School in his natal city of San Pedro Sula. After graduating as one of the top string players in the school, he began his professional career as a chamber musician for the SPS chamber orchestra, after this, he decided to continue to pursue his higher studies. In 2019 Jonathan completed his undergraduate studies at Northwestern University of Louisiana and a master’s in music degree at the University of Houston.
Jonathan has gathered a lot of teaching experience throughout his musical career in addition to his performance experience. He was a member of a large group of orchestras in the ArkLaTx area and is also recipient to first place prices in competitions in the LA area, and national finalist of the MTNA competition. Jonathan has received master classes from high profile musicians such as members of the Duisburg Symphony in Germany, Mauricio Fuks, Jose Aurelio Castillo, among others. Jonathan is currently a member of the Symphony of Southeast Texas as well as a private teacher.
Mr. Jonathan is at the studio on Mondays and Fridays.

The American Music Academy takes pride in supplying our students with the best upright pianos to practice their modern or classical repertoire. Students will be able to use the full capabilities of a piano including dynamics, pedaling, musical phrasing, and dramatic interpretation. Students will be able to participate in seasonal recitals at one of Houston’s many venues. Recitals, included in their tuition, display each student’s personal achievements in their instrument. Our students have the option to perform piano, guitar, violin, viola, voice/singing, cello, and drums!
