Nadia Sanchez - Viola, Violin and Piano

Nadia began her musical journey in sixth grade. She immediately fell in love with playing the viola and has been playing ever since. As a high school musician, Nadia was awarded various scholarships to attend the American Festival for The Arts where she was able to perform at Jones Hall. She discovered her passion for teaching when she was given the opportunity to teach underserved students in her community of  Pasadena, Texas.

Nadia currently studies music performance at the University of Houston's Moores School of Music. She has performed with global and local musicians through the Moores Symphony Orchestra and Opera productions. One of her favorite collaborations was with Stephen Nachmanovitch where she improvised in his masterclass. Working with UK conductor David Curtis, founder of Orchestra of The Swan was also a highlight of her academic music study.

Nadia's teaching is inspired by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, George Bornoff, & Maria Montessori. She is passionate about tailoring her lessons to each of her students and puts their success at the top of her list. During her free time, Nadia loves to improvise to all genres of music and enjoys performing throughout the Houston area.

Ms. Nadia is at the studio on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
