“Mommy & Me” Baby Music at St. John the Divine
Join our Mommy & Me Baby Music Class (Kindermusik Certified) to bond with your baby while fostering early development through music, rhythm, and movement. Designed for babies 0-12 months, the class promotes language development, motor skills, and emotional growth. Even if your baby is napping, they’ll still benefit from the soothing melodies and familiar rhythms, as babies absorb sounds and experiences even during rest. The Kindermusik curriculum ensures each activity supports developmental milestones. Enjoy a nurturing environment where music connects, comforts, and strengthens the bond between you and your little one, whether they're awake or asleep!
Classes will be led by our Kindermusik-certified instructor, Ms. DeShana Wooden. Classes will begin at 9 AM and end at 9:30 AM.

Each session includes one daily 30-minute class. The cost for each session is $150 total, which includes five 30-minute classes. There are no refunds for missed classes or sessions. Payment is required in full in order to register and reserve your spot- spots are limited.

Students will be able to use the full capabilities of a piano including dynamics, pedaling, musical phrasing, and dramatic interpretation. Students will be able to participate in seasonal recitals at one of Houston’s many venues. Recitals, included in their tuition, display each student’s personal achievements in their instrument. Our students have the option to perform piano, guitar, violin, viola, voice/singing, cello, and drums!
